About 30% Club Canada

翱耻谤听aim听is to听engage听both board Chairs and CEOs to set aspirational goals for their own company鈥檚 Path to Parity.

We are calling for听beyond 30%听representation of ALL women on boards and executive teams globally,听with a particular focus on C-suite roles.

We aim for women and gender diverse people to hold听at least 30% of chair and senior independent director roles, as well as executive committee roles听鈥 particularly CEO and CFO roles.

For this reason, we have听aligned with The 50-30 Challenge, an initiative between the Government of Canada, Canadian businesses, and diversity organizations.

The听30% Club Canada Investor Group听is a group of asset owners and asset managers committed to exercising their ownership rights to encourage increased representation of women on corporate boards and in executive management positions in Canada.

To accomplish this the Advisory Committee is working to engage Board Chairs and CEOs to commit to accelerate progress towards a minimum of 30% representation.

鈥淥ur objective is to achieve a minimum of 30% women on the boards and at the executive management level of S&P/TSX composite index companies by 2022. 30% is the level at which critical mass is achieved and contributions of a minority group cease being representative of that particular group and begin to be judged on their own merit.鈥
